Cairo – Mubasher: The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) is studying funding possibilities for renewable energy and real estate projects in Egypt, the bank’s President Benedict Oramah said during his meeting with the Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr.
Both parties discussed the possiblity of increasing the credit portfolio granted to Egypt directly and indirectly which stands at $4 billion.
The bank will provide a $200 million facility for Egypt’s Banque Misr next July to finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
